We all know that expiry dates on food products are crucial. They tell us to use that food before the given expiry date to get the most nutritional value from it. But, sometimes, these expiry dates on food products mislead the customers into throwing out products that are still perfectly fine.Generally, most food products have two labels, sell-by date, and use-by(or expiration) date. Sell-by dates are only meant for staff members to keep track of every product that is arriving at the store shelves. According to the sell-by date, staff members of the store follow FIFO(first in first out), which means the product that comes first will be delivered first. Expiration dates are nothing but only the manufacturer’s guarantee for the freshness of the product.
